The plague was not only carried by rats and humans. Other species as well, like fleas and other animals but mostly rodents. I hope I never get bitten by a flea or any other common carrier of the black death. The fleas would bite the rats and then bite all of the people. I’m glad I don’t live in the city with rats. These bacteria lived in the blood of the rats and most of the people.
These bacteria pretty much lived in all rodents like mice and rats. But these bacteria multiplied speedy quick. People usually only lasted two or three days after getting these bacteria it was a very painful two or three days. I personally think if we had that disease in our country today we would have the proper medicine and be able to cure it. I really hope me nor do my friends and family ever get these bacteria. I also hope this disease never developes agan in the future.
I agree with you that I hope that this disease is never brought to our country. Are there any other common carriers of the plague?
ReplyDeleteI would not want to get bit by a carrier of the black death either. It must not be good to be hurting for 2 or 3 days then you die.
