The plague was not only carried by rats and humans. Other species as well, like fleas and other animals but mostly rodents. I hope I never get bitten by a flea or any other common carrier of the black death. The fleas would bite the rats and then bite all of the people. I’m glad I don’t live in the city with rats. These bacteria lived in the blood of the rats and most of the people.Tuesday, May 17, 2011

I agree with you that I hope that this disease is never brought to our country. Are there any other common carriers of the plague?
ReplyDeleteI would not want to get bit by a carrier of the black death either. It must not be good to be hurting for 2 or 3 days then you die.
